The Life of an Artist

“I’m an addictive sketcher.”

Our latest film features London-based artist, Adebanji Alade.

Adebanji’s engaging personality and lust for life can be seen in the way he talks about his obsessive need to sketch and in the work itself, which ranges from the rich detail of his pencil sketch portraits to the vibrant colour of his street-scene paintings.

Adebanji brings a vibrancy to a usually drab London Underground scene at rush hour.

Throughout filming, Adebanji was warm, engaging and articulate and we hope you enjoy our film as much as we enjoyed making it. You can check out Adebanji’s Blog here, follow him on twitter or take a look at his Facebook page.

As always, we would love to hear your feedback so please keep commenting and subscribe to our Youtube channel to see more Life Of films as they are released, as well as lot’s more MGL Media projects.

  1. Superb! Adebanji truly is an inspiration and I relate to so much of what he says. My wish to be an artist was a pipe dream, but now I do it full time and have done since 2007… best move I ever made! But it is hard work like he says but oh so rewarding. Thank you.
